I was very curious to see what awaits me, so I already sent some questions to Mr. Glenn Daniels, the General Manager of Velassaru. Now, I cannot wait to get there!
Please describe to me in a few words what will await me at Velassaru when I arrive?

The first thing you would suggest IRMA does when arriving in Velassaru?
Take a walk around the island and drink in the beauty of the Maldives. Go snorkelling near Chill Bar where you can discover Velassaru’s colourful reef and an abundant marine life. Then finish off the adventure with a cocktail or sangria at the bar while waiting for the sun to set.
A must-have treatment I should book in advance?
You have to try the unique Velassaru signature treatment. Our therapists use authentic coconut wood tools to liberate negative stress in the body and stimulate positive and intensive sense of well being.
What will I bring back home with me when leaving Velassaru, Maldives? Any advise from the spa manager or a special dish or breakfast idea I can make at home, etc…
You must try our favourite from the Turquoise menu, a traditional Maldivian dish – Kandu Kukulhu Riha. It is a tuna curry with coconut leaf and rice, dahl, pickle, tuna Sambal and poppadum. Our chefs will be more than happy to give you the recipe so you can also prepare this at home.
