Coachella Hair

COACHELLA: This coming weekend we are looking to one of the greatest music festivals in America and what first comes to my mind is the great variety of truly cool hair. Whether waves and curls, hair colour, hats or the creativeness of putting jewels in your hair, from anything to feathers, pearls, flowers, etc., let your imagination just get you into the mood.

IRMA selected her top three hair trends for the festival and tells you how to make them yourself. After all, isn’t Coachella all about creativity? Have fun!

IRMA’S HAIR JEWELS

ALL YOU NEED: Different ribbons, glue gun, safety pins in matching sizes, elastic ribbon, different flowers and hairbands which stay in place nicely and do not move, different sizes of combs, glitter stars, Swarowski stones, sequins and vintage jewellery

HOW YOU DO IT:
BOWS: Knot the bow of your choice in different colours and materials and pin them onto ribbons around your head. Make sure that the material is strong enough so the bow holds together nicely.

RING OF FLOWERS: Use all the flowers you can find alive or made out of plastic, silk or cotton and sew them onto your favorite colour ribbon. If the flower is large, sow it onto the ribbon on different points so it holds on to it nicely. Try the ribbon onto your head before and pin the flowers precisely where you would like to have each one positioned.

HAIR COMB: Hair combs in different sizes work great for both fine and thick hair. You can even create some extra volume with it. Decorate each comb with Swarowski stones, glitter, sequins or found vintages brooches to make them look individual and colourful.
