After summer beauty

It’s not just about the latest skincare, but also about the general feeling of body and mind after summer. Our after-summer guide is all about prolonging the carefree feeling we enjoy in summer and want to keep all year round.

Give yourself a vitamin C boost by infusing at least 2 litres of water with fresh lemon zest every day. Vitamin C helps fight SPF rays that aren’t completely blocked by your sunscreen, and vitamin C also repairs sun damage on your skin and overall on your cells. You can also incorporate a vitamin C serum into your daily skincare routine, but the most important thing is to keep your skin hydrated from the inside.

Do the same with your skincare and make-up as you do with your wardrobe. Lighter/brighter colours and lighter moisturisers instead of heavy creams. The end of summer is ideal for opting for maximum surface area and bare skin, as all you need is a little fresh colour to enhance your natural glow.
We love Hermésistibles lip balm with hue and Rose Horizon nail polish in vibrant pink/coral for your nails.

Rest is not a luxury, it is a necessity and should be taken seriously. Prepare for your night’s rest by filling some cotton wools with Dr. Hauschka Cooling Eye Ampoules to place on your eyes while you fall asleep and after applying Soothing Eye Cream. For a calming effect and delicious fragrance, we like to massage the neck and ears with a drop of Dr. Hauschka Lemongrass Oil, place an eye pillow over it and fall asleep.

Open the windows of your bedroom before you go to sleep, regardless of the temperature. Use a natural pillow spray instead of a scented candle for a scent that soothes and relaxes.

Your hair might have been damaged the most by the salt water and the sun. Now is the time to visit a professional salon for advice on special treatments, but you can also use hair masks and serums at home, don’t forget to pay special attention to your scalp.

Summer is the time of flowers and it is great fun to dry your favourite flowers. Not only for bouquets in winter, but also for mixing with fresh flowers. If you crush the dried flowers in a mortar, you can add the flower powder to your night cream or face oil for a great effect.

Good news for La Rentreé is that Maison Sisley in Munich is celebrating its third anniversary and, for this reason, invites you to a 25% discount on all treatments in September. Make an appointment here.
