I first came across FILORGA skin care products on a summer holiday in the south of France. I am a big fan of browsing through the skin care department of the French pharmacies, that’s where I discovered FILORGA.
In France women buy their skin care products at pharmacies which always made sense to me as you have a pharmacist who looks at your skin almost like a dermatologist and can help you to find the right skin care for your type of skin.
FILORGA was founded in 1978 by Michel Tordjman, a French doctor of aesthetic medicine with a particular interest and enthusiasm on cellular biology.
This interest has led him to work on the creation of A New Cellular Treatment Factor, a unique injectable solution that prevents, retards and corrects the effects of skin aging.
Like many French physicians Monsieur Tordjman worked with various solutions such as peelings, mesotherapy, and injections of hyaluronic acid in his practice, where he studied carefully the reaction of different skin types. He wanted to find a series of skin care products that came close to these results and most effective.
FILORGA, a range dermo-cosmetics (specialized for mature skin) was born and is today well respected and known all over the world.
The range from cleanser to serum and creams has a very good price-performance ratio and a nice texture with a light French perfumed scent. It still reminds me of my holidays in the South of France .
