Which active substances should be included in the water so that it has a healing effect?
AKB: Every thermal water is unique in its mineral composition. The content of the individual minerals provides the specific characteristics of the water. The water from La Roche-Posay is, due to its balance of minerals and trace elements and its high concentration of selenium (53 micrograms per litre), particularly valuable and healing.
What is so special about products that use the thermal water from La Roche-Posay?

Can the water be taken as a toner after cleansing?
AKB: Definitely. The thermal water from La Roche-Posay, also called “Velvet Water“, is particularly soft and nearly pH neutral. It completes the cleansing routine, as it repairs the pH value of the skin.
Can I use the thermal water over my finished make-up as a fixer?
CS: The thermal water not only hydrates the skin but allows for a better binding of the makeup pigments. Many make-up artists use this trick, especially at the fashion shows when it needs to go fast.
Can you put the spray bottle in the refrigerator so that the water has a refreshing effect?
AKB: Yes. In our office there are always a few bottles of thermal water in the refrigerator. Especially now in summer the fine spray is a cool refreshment. But even in winter the thermal water is our “must-have” against dry, heated air.
Can I use the thermal water as a protector after bathing in the sea? Does it protect the hair from drying out, or from too much sun exposure?
