While browsing through my article on IRMAS WORLD I came upon the story about Franciacorta, the „Champagne“ Region of Italy.
With Christmas looming and dinners to plan that inspired me for the perfect dinner set-up. So I went to buy a dozen or so marvellously tasty Irish Oysters, lemon and several bottles of my favourite Franciacorta sparkling wine.
Nothing goes better with fresh oysters than a glass of cool Franciacorta.

Decorate the table with fresh flowers, herbs and leaves from the Italian region and your best china. Invite your friends and family and indulge yourself.

Here is my choice of four must try from the Franciacorta region. Happy Holidays!

Franciacorta Dosaggio Zero Antica Fratta
Full-bodied sparkling wine in a golden colour. Perfect choice as an apperetivo to start with.

Franciacorta Brut Barone Pizzini
A “vino biologico” . Great quality and a wonderful colour. Pure taste. Perfect for sea food.

Dosaggio Zero Antica Fratta; Brut Barone Pizzini

Franciacorta Cuvée Prestige Ca’ del Bosco
Have you ever heard of “berry spa”, an exclusive bunch washing and jet spray system that incorporates three soaking vats and a drying tunnel at the winery of Ca’del Bosco. Anyways, you can definitely taste it. And it’s more exciting than relaxed

Franciacorta Coupé Non Dosato Monte Rossa
Apart from the very cool looking Coupé writing on the label, this wine has most beautiful final taste of fresh almonds finishing the oysters perfectly.
