There is something about a common product that is unusually and beautifully packaged, so it becomes something very special. That is how I felt when I found Diz-Diz, the gourmet popcorn that has brought this classic snack back into my living room when lounging the night away on my sofa. Not only that it is so elegantly packaged with a white marble texture box and gold lettering. It also comes in a variety of fine flavours – parmesan, curry, vanilla and cinnamon – which are matched in colour according to their flavours.
Responsible for this favorite new snack of mine is the Spanish design studio Tatabi, who apparently used Mount Olympus, the mythological home of the ancient Greek gods, as an inspiration for the colours, textures and aesthetics. It only makes sense that their motto for this project is: “If the Gods eat popcorn, they would choose Diz-Diz.” And so do we this summer!
