PARIS: IRMA designed her first pair of Converse in cooperation with the online company notlikeyou.com. The limited edition will be for sale in the high and low model showing IRMA all over your feet. When I got this assignment I couldn’t decide which IRMA to draw — should she be standing, running or does she have to lie down in order to fit entirely onto the shoe. Will it be a summer or a winter IRMA, but then you can wear a Chuck all year round. In the end I decided on IRMA’s different moods and put all her happy, funny, wondering faces all over the shoe.
