My beauty picks for Fashion Weeks

Fashion Weeks are coming up and my luggage is packed with all my little helpers that make my skin glow during the day and work wonders during night. If you don’t have lots of time to spend in your bathroom, use these products and make them work your skin while you are on the run.

1. Chantecaille Jasmine and Lily Healing Mask
The most iconic mask to soothe and moisturize the skin. You can either use it to nourish a stressed, jet-lagged complexion, or as an extra-rich overnight moisturizer. Either way, it really works.

2. Le Labo Santal 33
I like strong, grown-up fragrances. No saccharine scents for me, please. Which is why I love this scent – a mix of sandalwood, cedar, cardamom and iris, it really packs a powerful punch.

3. Charlotte Tilbury Matte Revolution Lipstick in Super Cindy
A chalky nude is never really flattering unless you’re a supermodel. I like warm, toasty neutrals. This is a perfect toffee shade with a hint of shimmer that looks good on its own, as well as with a smokey eye.

4. RMS Beauty Cream Eye Polish
While I do have my fair share of powder palettes, I just adore the ease of a cream eye shadow. This one is really great because it gives your lids a hint of shine, without looking overdone. I like the stony brown/grey (Lucky) shade called Magnetic, a bit of mascara and you are done.

5. Royal Fern Phytoactive Ampoules
The newly launched product by Dr. Timm Golüke’s ROYAL FERN range are the highly Concentrated Antioxidant Ampoules and the Illuminating Ampoules that protect your skin from urban pollution and environmental aggressors and brighten and illuminate a perfect glow. Key ingredients like fern, green tea and grape seed extract, Vitamin B12 and hyaluronic acid make these ampoules which come in a set of 12 the perfect travel companion. Use it as a cure while you are travelling.

6. Slip Silk sleeping pillow

The slipsilk satin sleeping pillow uses the highest grade long fibre mulberry silk, with a non-toxic dye to make your beauty sleep complete. Cotton grabs your hair and twists it at the root throughout the night, damaging hair and causing bed-head in the morning, whereas slipsilk™is so gentle on your hair, it allows your hairstyle/blow-dry to last overnight. Unlike cotton, which draws moisture from your face, hair and scalp, slipsilk™ breathes and is a natural temperature regulator.

7. Sarah Chapman Skinesis Overnight Facial
I don’t believe so much in night creams, and I am happy to apply whatever is sent to me by beauty brands. But I am militant about overnight serums. And this overnight facial product ticks all the right boxes because it literally retexturises skin, leaving it super smooth in the morning.

8. Oskia Renaissance Cleansing Gel
Yes, another cleanser. I like to have a few in my beauty cabinet. Some days I use oils, other days I use balms and sometimes I may even double cleanse with a gel face cleanser like this one. It really does remove impurities without stripping your skin of moisture. When I have to make a choice for the one and only for my travels, this is the one.

9. Zelens Power D
I use this product as a face oil. The provitamin D in this serum really helps calm and heal my rosacea prone skin. This always goes on as the last step in skincare at night.

10. Kevyn Aucoin The Sculpting Powder
There are contouring powders that look harsh. But this one is so sheer and so buildable that it makes you look naturally sculpted. When in doubt, always choose Kevyn Aucoin.

11. Francois Nars, Liquid Blush, Orgasme

When I travel, I like to use liquid blush as I can use it for several occasions during the day and it does not take up too much space in my often small bag. Liquid blush in ORGASME by Francois Nars is perfect for the cheeks, lips and upper eye lids for an instant fresh-up.
