Three Days, one little suitcase and everything I need

Yes, it is possible to travel to Paris Fashion Week with a full schedule and only hand luggage. You don’t think so? Let IRMA tell you how it works.

  1. Take only tester sizes of your daily beauty products and have no worries at the security check.
  1. Start packing with your basics besides lingerie & nighty and your sport legging. A favourite t-shirt, black pencil pants and a classic jacket (which you wear during the flight) around your shoulders.
  1. Select your key pieces that will uplift each of your daily looks. Choose accessories and clothes which have a strong impact and that are comfortable to wear and easy to mix and match.
  1. Organize your outfit in advance. Check the weather forecast and the distances between your appointments. Do you need sneakers or can you wear high heels all day long? We took the bike getting around Paris, it is quick and comfortable when the weather is nice.
  1. Stay in one colour scheme. We chose yellow for the XXL Mui Miu cashmere cardigan that is easily to combine. Casually with slim trousers or on top of a skirt or dress with a belt.
  1. Shoes make up for everything. Wear your bejeweled heels to your VETEMENT jeans or your favourite sneakers to your dresses. Always start with the shoe of the day and complete your look from there.
  1. Take your favourite small bags that you can wear crossed around your shoulder, so your hands are free to drive a bike or hold whatever you might find worth taking home.
  1. Take your favourite accessories, like sunglasses and a foulard in a colour that lifts your skin complexion and keeps you warm during the fight.
  1. In order to save space, pack the lingerie into your handbags and wear the bulkiest cloths on the plane. Stuff your shoes with silk paper and put layers of paper in-between cloths.
  1. Instead of taking notebooks, sketchbooks and my current book with me, I take my MediaPad M2 by Huawei for newspapers and magazines, sketching and taking notes.
