The making of IRMA

Many people are curious about IRMAS WORLD—who we are, what we do, and where the name IRMA originates. This question came up most recently in a podcast interview with Jasmin Khezri, the founder of IRMAS WORLD.

At the heart of our story is IRMA, the illustrated character who lent her name to the brand. Her journey is one of serendipity and opportunity, unfolding in unexpected ways. What began as a simple illustration in Germany’s largest weekly magazine soon found its way into advertisements, products and columns in renowned magazines in Japan, Germany, the UK and the U.S., eventually evolving into our digital magazine, IRMAS WORLD, and beyond.
