Holiday was the time just to work on our natural glow. This sun-kissed skin, deeply moisturized, firm… all because there is so much time and we can pamper ourselves, not only in terms of beauty. Back to work schedules, meetings and quick desk lunches unfortunately do their work as well. So it’s time to maybe refill your beauty pouch with some glow-tools. Which are the best and how to use them? I asked someone who knows best: Alex Rothe, National Make-Up Artist of Giorgio Armani Beauty.
IRMA: If I want to use as less make-up as possible, what is the easiest way to provide my skin with glow?
Alex Rothe: Especially for dry and very fine skin I love the Fluid Sheer No. 10/03 instead of a make-up. You can also use Fluid Sheer just on your cheekbones to get the Armani Glow.
IRMA: Why should I use a primer? When using a primer, what do I have to pay special attention to?
Alex Rothe: The primer helps the make-up to stay longer on the skin. If you have a dry skin, I would not recommend a primer. Perfect for every skin is the UV Master Primer. You’ll get a sun protection and a primer in one product. It doesn’t dry out and the make-up stays longer on the skin. Last but not least the make-up looks more even.
IRMA: Which make-up product has more benefits, for example for using it in a 2-in-1 manner?

IRMA: It’s always the question: using a brush or don’t, while putting on make-up?
Alex Rothe: I always go for a brush, you do need less of the product and the result is more natural.
IRMA: When skin is too dry/too oily, what is you extra tip for putting on make-up that looks fabulous during the day?
