All the fun things come in stripes: sun umbrellas at the beach, icecream cones, lollypops, great art and our favourite fashion musts for the summer.
Stripes instantly put you in a good mood. IRMA went shopping for you and selected her favourites, and our art specialist Marion von Schabrowsky came across stripes whenever she follows the installation artworks of one of her favourite French abstract minimalist artists, Daniel Buren, who is best known for using regular, contrasting coloured stripes in an effort to integrate visual surface and architectural space, like for example his permanent installation at the Palais Royal in Paris and his later work, Le Vent souffle où il veut from 2009, which reminds us of a perfect summer installation.
