STUTTGART: There is no better way to begin the day than with a raspberry flavour like our guest editor Madeline Lu loves to do it. Either in a freshly blended raspberry smoothie or homemade raspberry jam on toast with salted butter.
The first variation of course makes your morning fuelled with energy and gives your skin the perfect glow. The second version is recommended for the weekend because you will not just enjoy one toast but several. All in all raspberries are a mood enhancer, they have a green, flowery aroma with a primary scent of violets. They smell sweet and their velvety texture in combination with the minuscule seeds make the consumption of a raspberry exceptionally good.
You just have to think of summer, and whether it is the colour or smell, I want to raspberries my life, wear different raspberry-coloured hues along with painted nails and I wish I could also find a perfume which has the perfect mixture of sweet raspberries and harsh earth in the forest. In the meantime I will enjoy raspberry smoothies by Madeline Lu or plain raspberries with crème fraîche for dessert.
