At this year’s Haute Joaillerie Salon, the Swiss haute joaillerie house Piaget celebrated life with vibrant exotic colours like pink, blue, yellow and green. The exhibition at Potocki Mansion was a perfect mix of artistic skill (more about this on Monday) and the beauty and light of their precious stone and craftsmanship.
After visiting the exhibition we just had to walk around Paris and took some snap shots of the colours that inspired us and put us in that sparkling mood. Whether it is a hotel jewel or a fine trimmed courtyard at the newly renovated Ritz Hotel, the Ferris Wheel at the Tuilleries against the bright blue sky or the crisp whit flowers on my night table next to my bed, jewels are everywhere, you just have to open your eyes and enjoy the twinkle.
