Last night the Swiss watch and jewelry powerhouse, Piaget, alongside Wempe Maximilianstraße Munich, rolled out the red carpet for an unforgettable “House of Gold” event on the Praterinsel in Munich marking Piaget’s 150th anniversary. A glittering moment for the Maison in Germany, where luxury and savoir-faire intertwined effortlessly. The exclusive affair, attended by over 150 of Piaget and Wempe’s most distinguished guests, clients, VIPs, and friends, was a dazzling celebration of legacy and artisanal craftmanship, showcasing the Maison’s history and collections in true extravagant fashion with selected vintage pieces from their heritage.
As guests indulged in the finest, from Lallier Champagne to Char Tartelettes and Golden Caviar the evening extended into the early hours, highlighted by the grand opening of the “Golden Curtain” and a 70s-inspired Glam Disco that kept the party pulsing late into the night.
For Piaget, the evening carried special meaning. “It was a labor of love to showcase the golden Piaget Polo79 — launched globally in Gstaad as the first highlight of our 150-year celebrations — here in Munich,” said Sylvain Auroux, General Manager Europe for Piaget. “Munich, a city where extravagance and elegance are second nature, was the perfect backdrop after visiting Shanghai, London and Zurich next.. With Wempe Maximilianstraße Munich as our partner, we couldn’t have asked for a more fitting stage for this glamorous event.”
