This spring we want to become more playful with perfume and use it not only directly on our skin but also to refresh our wardrobe, bags, lingerie and all over our body. Try to combine different perfumes for your own customized favourite scent and pair different flavours of musks together or stay more in citrus variations and never get bored just using only one perfume. IRMA has her favourite scent for each part of her body. Follow her tips for a fragrant experience.
HOW TO BE SURROUNDED BY YOUR PERFUME ALL DAY LONG
ON YOUR HAIR
Use a hair oil or hair drying protection product when blowdrying your hair. A perfume will stay better and last longer on hair when it is treated with a hair product before blow drying.
When you are ready, spray some scent on your hair, not directly but from a 30 cm distance. Avoid the dry ends. You can also mist some perfume directly onto your brush and then comb your hair carefully.

EARS & WRIST
You have seen it already in old movies. The ladies are applying their perfume behind the ear lobes, because this area is a pulse point where the body is much warmer, which will enhance the fragrance.
The same applies to your wrist, another important pulse point. You can also take a velvet or silk ribbon and spray the fragrance onto the ribbon which you can tie around your wrist for an all-day-long scent; renew when needed.

It is better to spray the perfume on the collar bones of your décolletée than flat onto your skin. And only do that at night, so the pigments of your skin will not be damaged by the sun. I use the new scent by L’Occitane which makes me dream of la Provence (for sale starting April ).

OVERALL SKIN/BODY
Make sure that your skin is well moisturized before applying perfume. Body oil is very nutritious for the skin and blends beautifully with the alcohol of the perfume. It also protects your skin from drying out.

FEET
Spray perfume around the ankles, it is not only refreshing and stimulates the circulation of your legs, it also surrounds your feet all day with perfume. Spray the scent directly on your silk hosiery or the lamb soles in your boots.
TOM FORD VERT DE FLEUR
HANDS & NAILS
Use a nurturing scent which is rich in oil for your hands and nails. I place it directly next to the soap on my sink and use it whenever I wash my hands after moisturizing. Use an extra portion on your nails to make them look shiny and glossy.
DIPTYQUE VOILE SATIN
ON YOUR LINEN & CLOTHES
If you prefer it fresh and clean, then use a slight spritz of EAU RELAX on your linen & clothes. Take at least an arm length distance when you spray and do not spray on silk and velvet materials.
I suggest to cut little linen patches which can be sprayed and stored in between linen in your dressing room
