Corinne, the lovely wife of Patrice de Colmont, owner of Club 55, took advantage of the fashionista clientele who comes by for lunch at the famous Club 55 during summer and opened a little shed right at the beach. At the beginning you could mostly buy handmade jewellery and a great selection of bikinis. Now it is stacked with everything you might need for the summer, even authentic toys and books for your children. I especially like their custom-designed porcelain plates with seafood motifs.
CROQUI CROQUI PERFUMERIA, MÉRIDA, MEXICO
This perfumery has been inspired by the Yucatán peninsula’s lush nature; think tropical scents of smoked woods, vibrantly coloured flowers, tobacco leaves, and succulent vanilla, spicy peppermints and fruity aromas. You can also buy features of the Bonatos and Ravagnan Hacienda Montaecristo accessories line, that includes locally hand-crafted gold filigree necklaces and even hand-crocheted hammocks.
AERIN, SOUTHAMPTON, USA
