Before launching her own pret-à-porter label, Jasmin Khezri Collection, Jasmin worked as an art director and editor for several international magazines including SZ Magazine, Süddeutsche Zeitung, Marie Claire, Nippon ELLE and German Glamour. A graduate of Parsons School of Design in Communication Design, she started at the Paris campus, followed by New York and Otis Parsons in Los Angeles. In 2020 she started her first pieces, shirts and trousers, for which she is still best known, followed by jackets, dresses, coats and skirts.
The Jasmin Khezri Collection is solely available direct to consumers online, in selected city pop-ups and limited partnerships with relevant retailers.
Today, Jasmin will introduce you to the Autumn/Winter 20023 collection by presenting two different looks that are contrasting and show how the entire collection can be worn and styled in different ways.
1. LOUD & ELEGANT / NEUTRAL & DETAILED
A warm red ensemble in our signature cut, tailored with an extra amount of fabric, yet light to wear, either buttoned up or cinched with our hand crocheted belt. Although it’s a bit of a departure from the usual winter hues, it’s elegant and effortless, creating a cool and timeless look that works throughout the season.
This season we love the comfort and fall of cotton corduroy, our navy palazzo trousers can be worn on the hips for an extra large look or high waisted for a long leg silhouette. Teamed with our new style shirt, a mix of Cala and Seville trumpet sleeves, this shirt and embroidered fabric has a classic appeal with a focus on fabric and detail, just add a simple jacket and you are ready for autumn.
2. LIDO CHECKED PANTS FOR BUSINESS & BOHO
Our Lido pants, with a high-rise cut and a slightly boot-cut leg, are inspired by men’s trousers. Tuxedo pants create a pre-fall look with this checked fabric. Team them with our navy Field Jacket and bright orange blouse or our new Box Jacket in green virgin wool and complete with our selection of autumn accessories.
3. MAXIMUM ACCESSORIES / TO THE POINT
Whether you prefer to stock up on artisanal, mostly handmade pieces from our accessories collection or focus on one piece that makes an impact. Most pieces can be styled in a number of different ways. Like our black hand crocheted collar, which can be worn instead of a scarf or as a belt, or our heart chain, which can be worn as a necklace, a belt or a bracelet.
Either way, as long as an accessory is handmade and unique, we love it!
4. PATTERN MIX or ONE COLOUR
Everything, even pieces from older JKC collections, can be mixed and matched. We love to mix stripes with plaids, wools with cottons and crochet details with silks and flannels. If you are not so daring yet, keep it simple with an all over one colour look. In my opinion, both ways are strong and let YOU stand out with your hair, complexion and eyes rather than an overloaded print and mix of too many fashion statements.
5. CRISP & CLEAN/ DETAIL OBSESSED
A crisp white shirt is a must in every wardrobe. Ours is simple with a stand-up collar and feminine puff sleeves, as simple as it gets, but enhances your overall silhouette.
If you are obsessed with detail, our Corinne dress is an option with feminine bell sleeves, bejewelled vintage flower shaped pearl buttons and a hand crocheted pom pom belt to wear this dress in many different ways.
6. MINIMALIST/MAXIMALIST
We go both ways depending on our mood, the weather and where we are going. Keep it minimal with our ivory corduroy trousers and matching biscuit stripe shirt or load it up with knits, checks, ruffles, a mix of materials and trims that all work in harmony with these classic pieces.
7. PASTELS FOR WINTER & COVER UPS FOR SUPER COOL TEMPERATURES
We love rosé and other light tones for the darker times of the year, they keep our complexion glowing and a little pink always goes a long way with greys and tweeds, so we have created a pair of pink corduroy trousers that will work with any colour.
Our natural sheepskin vests, handmade in Portugal, are the perfect cover up over shirts and dresses, guaranteed to keep you warm and add a cool layer to your winter wardrobe.
