Take a moment and have a look at the latest carpet collaboration between the Scandinavian design firm Nordicknots and the London based design firm Campbell-Rey.
For their first project into rug design, they turned to the flourishes of Gustavian style for inspiration.
Their designs include a trompe l’oeil grid, inspired by a garden maze, in four shades of green; a pattern of graphic, zigzagging ribbons in raspberry and amber; and intertwined vines on a lilac background.
The three exclusive carpet designs made it difficult not only to look at the floor, so we combined our favourite shoes of the season with the carpet that will soon be found in our living room.
