VIENNA: Just imagine a perfect place for a grand hotel in a capital full of history and movements like Vienna. The location is perfect in the so called Goldenes Quartier, in walking distance to St. Stepahn’s Cathedral, the State Opera House, Vienna’s townhall, Hofburg Palace and the Museum Square with the Albertina Museum, Museum of Modern Art and the Museum of Applied Arts. You experience Vienna when you live at the Park Hyatt – old and new, a twist of antique historical elements with a modern edge.
The moment your enter the lobby you will know what I am talking about. The former bank has a very clear layout. Enjoy all-day dining and breakfast at the Bank, meet for a cigar and a variety of spirits and whiskey at Living Room and the Pearl Bar where you can enjoy champagne and cocktails, and meet in a lobby where you can find chilled elegance at the same time with the buzz of the town.
I love to start my days in the spa, where I go for my morning swim in the pool which is located in a former safe room. It is a perfect place to start your day and get your thoughts going. Afterwards the open kitchen awaits me for a quick breakfast in the light flooded dining hall with a great selection of everything the guest is looking for in an international breakfast (although I have difficulties finding healthy varieties of truly fresh squeezed juices, smoothies and organic cereals).
My room has the perfect layout and idea of a hotel room, which means that the bathroom is perfect from the interior and the way it is integrated into the room. Everything is very spacious and leaves enough space to put out my yoga mat and even allows more participants to join me if I wanted. The beds have the perfect bedding which is significant for the Park Hyatt group and my room with the beautiful view allows me sweet dreams whether at night or day.
Just imagine you are in the center of everything and could even leave your windows open without being bothered by the noise. Come for a weekend and take advantage of the cultural jewels this city has to offer and feel like at home when staying at the Park Hyatt.
