MUNICH: Don’t you wonder sometimes what the ladies carry in their bags? Whether it is the XXL shopper or the mini bag, a clutch, a saddle bag or a backpack, what do we need to have with us when we leave the house?
I met Barbara Becker and Nadja Auermann at the Longchamp opening  in Munich, where it is all about bags…..

JK: Barbara, what do you carry in your clutch?
Barbara Becker: Eyedrops, because I have been traveling and going out for the last nine days and it makes my eyes tired, but eyedrops help. I always carry my fragrance with me, it is an aromatherapy orange oil which is all natural and true. Tissue papers, my lip gloss  and of course the key to my hotel room.

JK: Which hotel do you prefer when staying in Munich?
Barbara Becker: I always stay at the Bayerischer Hof, there is a certain buzz about it, especially during the festive season.

JK: Do you prefer small or big bags?
Barbara Becker: I love small bags, except when I am traveling or going to my studio to work out, then I need  something big.

JK: What makes you happy?
Barbara Becker: Smiles, just like your smile, IRMA. I love it when you see that eyes are smiling.

Thank you, Barbara.

JK: Hello, Nadja, tell me, why do you need such a big bag tonight?
Nadja Auermann: The big bag holds my small clutch, both from Longchamp’s latest collection.

JK: You couldn’t decide whether to take a small or a big bag?
Nadja Auermann: No, it is practical and this big leo print bag in red goes perfectly with my shoes, also by Longchamp.

JK: I see. May I ask you what is in your small bag?
Nadja Auermann: Tonight just my mobile phone and the key to my hotel room.

JK: What makes you happy?
Nadja Auermann: To wake up and the sun is shining. Very simple but so wonderful to start the day.

JK: Thank you, Nadja.
