London: This is the dangerous part of my job. I get to talk with so many beauty specialists (like yesterday’s post with make-up artist Yasmin Heinz) that I get carried away sometimes and buy everything I think I need to get beautiful skin. But then it is all very useful as everyone should renew their beauty stock when seasons change, as our skin is ready for something new.
I went shopping and would like to share my finds with you. Let me know which one of my new products is the one you want to have. CLARINS HYDRAQUENCH is called in French “Anti-soif” (anti-thirst in English) and you can feel what they mean when you put it on your skin! This serum intensively hydrates my skin and brings renewed vitality to extra dry skin types, even in the most severe climates!
IRMA’S TIP: Put it in the fridge over night and get an extra wake-up call for your skin.
NUXE SUN: The fondant self-tanning that I use is by Nuxe. I like it because it gives me the natural looking tan that I get when I’m on holiday.
IRMA’S TIP: Use it only on your cheek bones and a get a permanent rouge effect which makes you look good when waking up in the morning.
VICHY AQUALIA THERMAL: Hydrates my skin and every morning it is perfectly absorbed and I sometimes reuse it on top of my make-up to refresh during the day.
IRMA’S TIP: Use it also for an under-the-eye treatment, it works great against puffiness.
LANCOME, HYPNOSE: Lancôme’s Hypnose is a classic and always works, for both cat eyes and volume – a perfect eye opener.
IRMA’S TIP: Use the CILS BOOSTER XL MASCARA before and get an even more voluminous effect.
LAURA MERCIER, FLAWLESS SKIN NOURISHING OIL: The name suits this product perfectly because this super-oil infuses the skin with nutrients while balancing the PH value.
LAURA MERCIER FLAWLESS NOURISHING CREAM: Is the complement of the super oil. The texture and smell of the rose infusion helps me every day to get started and feel completely hydrated.
IRMA’S TIP: I use the oil also as a face perfume during the day around the neck. It smells lovely and protects the skin.
NUXE REVE DE MIEL: This ultra-nourishing balm is a blessing for my lips. During winter, I apply it in a thick layer on my lips at night, which will help them to recover from the cold day thanks to the honey and precious oil that you have in the cream. In the morning my lips feel like silk.
IRMA’S TIP: Use it also on your elbows to make them soft and beautiful.
KIEHL’s CREAMY EYE TREATMENT: It’s nourishing and the delicate skin under the eyes absorbs is so quickly.
IRMA’S TIP: Use it more than once a day! And gently tap it with your fingers around the eye. I use it also directly on my eyebrows to shape and hold them.
VICHY IDEAL BODY: Pamper your skin with that rich cream after a hot shower and sneak into a warm bed. It is a treat for the skin hydration and body skin firmness.
IRMA’S TIP: Wrap your body into a warm towel after using this body cream and rest for a moment. It just feels absolutely relaxing.
BOBBI BROWN – LIPSTICK: For the moment I like to use the spring pink! It gives you beautiful tinted lips and you look fresh and not too made up for the day.
IRMA’S TIP: When I travel I also use the lipstick on my cheeks for an instant glow before landing.
BOBBI BROWN – BRIGHTENING BRICK: The color I use is Peach Pastel. It gives you such a fresh, healthy look!
IRMA’S TIP: I love to use it as a glow and even on the height of my eyelids. It really opens your eyes.
BOBBI BROWN – FACE TOUCH-UP PALETTE: It is the ideal foundation palette! Inside you have a corrector, a skin foundation and a sheer finish pressed powder. I always keep it in my bag so I can touch up!
IRMA’S TIP: Use it also on the body, especially on your legs if you want to hide scars or marks.
