It seems long time ago when we were sitting at home scrolling through the net. Last week had been a blast , events, presentations, talks …. Etc. almost everywhere.
IRMA edited the things that stroke her eye and grabbed her attention. Here we go:
I just found last week in Madrid, Formaje a minimalist culinary space that elevates handmade cheese to cult status by the way it is represented in their shop in the Chamberí district in Madrid. Formaje is not only a shop but also a place to enjoy and share the artisanal product in serene surrounds.
The interior design is by Cobalto Studio with natural raw materials, such as granite and wood, creating a minimalist environment.
Cheese, imagined as a noble yet democratic product, displayed like beloved accessories or even objects of art. Not only a culinary pleasure to stop by but also visually.
Hermès, Salone del Mobile, Milano
The French luxury house displayed their latest home. Collection and interior objects in the geometrically striking Hermès pavilion at Salone del Mobile last week. The collection of decorative objects was presented with a beautiful sound installation created by Manuel Rocha, which underscored each object’s individual tactile appeal. A celebration of raw materials and each object made with natural materials that are longing to be touched. In a world of current uncertainties, the exhibited objects gave us hope for a better world with values and most important artisanal craftmanship.
