A new dress for your room

Collage-Fashion--Interior

In this Tuesday’s issue of The New York Times, Nicolas Ghesquière, artistic director of Louis Vuitton, mentioned that most people keep their furniture longer than their clothes which they often change every season, although he would love it if they kept them longer than a few seasons.

That comment made us think about how fashion is actually inspiring interior designers or is it vice versa? We think that we should meet in the middle and put together our most favorite looks from the Fashion Weeks for autumn/winter 2016/17 together with interior designs we think make a perfect match.

You might select a new wall colour or will try a wallpaper for your living room wall or simply buy some cushions for your couch. A tiny detail can make a big change. You do not have to wait until late summer to buy the clothes we just saw on the runways but can start to take elements of style already to redo your apartment. One common trend we spotted was the use of unusual materials, techniques and patterns in the collections and also ideal to enhance your apartment.
