St Tropez – Shop the Look

Some places are just perfect for spending part of the day shopping. St. Tropez in summer is certainly one of them.
The flagship stores carry special editions or collections that are tailor-made for the location, and the small boutiques are evergreens as they created the St. Tropez style at one point. The mix of an international crowd adds to the unique shopping experience.

We went around, visited the weekly markets and, of course, went to the beach. We put together this shopping guide for St Tropez or for shopping online when you can’t be there in person.
It is IRMAS dressing guide for the season.

THE STYLE
This collection features a selection of pieces, including small tops and flared skirts, showcasing the “Parisian savoir-faire” and style of Zhiggie.

PLACE DES LICES MARKET
The Tuesday and Saturday morning market includes brocante and second-hand dealers alongside food and fashion stalls. It’s not curated vintage in the boutique sense, but rather a place where people drop off last season’s finds when leaving their summer houses. Go early and be patient. The best pieces are gone by 9 am.

BEST CAFTANS
It’s not just about the cut; it’s also about the style and the accessories you pair it with. The most wearable clothing during summer can be found everywhere, but here are some selected places.

NAUTIQUE:

St Tropez is all about the yachts and the beautiful technical details on the decks.

North Sails has its flagship harbourside store on Quai de l’Epi, right at the port. They design performance gear for sailors, and their annual Les Voiles de Saint-Tropez capsule features limited-edition pieces made from technical, sustainable fabrics.

For a classic French maritime look, SAINT JAMES — the original Breton marinière brand from Normandy, established in 1889 — is the go-to for striped boatnecks, naval sweaters and deck polos. It’s not a St. Tropez-specific boutique, but it is stocked at multiple addresses in town and is available online for pre-trip ordering. A timeless look for a boat.

For a stylish crossover from deck to port, try EREVAN menswear, which looks even better on women. It is the most relevant address for nautical-inspired ready-to-wear that looks great both on board and at dinner. The modern, uninhibited dandy silhouette of the Années Folles on the Riviera is captured in nautical cuts of Japanese organic cotton and smocked Indian fabrics, inspired by the 1960s and ’70s.

ORLEBAR BROWN is located at 1 Rue Henri Seillon and spans three floors. Its signature feature is a diving board in the centre of the store, while the lower floors showcase a full seasonal collection and hero styles, and the top floor features a VIP lounge. The brand has been owned by Chanel since 2018, which explains the consistently high quality of the products.

RESORT WEAR
It can be worn from day to night during the summer, but we discovered it at St Tropez. The terry fabric makes it the perfect brand for summer. The aesthetic evokes vintage nostalgia and the glamour of 1960s Hollywood combined with the allure of the Riviera.
Then, of course, there are brands like Zimmermann & Co, which have created a special collection of pieces exclusively for their St. Tropez store.
Give them a call.

Take a break and go for lunch at Plages des Salins. There’s no music or wifi, just pure bliss and delicious seafood right by the waves.

On a small budget? There are plenty of options, and the only high street brand currently present is Massimo Dutti, offering a fine selection of linen and suede leather pieces in their signature Spanish style. Don’t leave without a pair of summer sandals from RONDINI, the family business established in 1927 which remains a St Tropez exclusive.

ACCESSORIES
Find the perfect summer accessory in St. Tropez. Handmade baskets, bags and hats can be found at the weekly markets or at Boutique 55. And try the St. Tropez skincare brand MAISON ST TROPEZ for skincare products that will remind you of summer. Made with ingredients from the region, they make the perfect souvenir.

THE SUMMER DRESS

Lulli is the anchor. Founded by Anne Vouland over 20 years ago, it has been setting the tone with a mix that is “iconic and unexpected, minimal and exuberant”. The brand’s range includes Jérôme Dreyfuss, Isabel Marant, Vanessa Bruno, Ginette NY, Gigi Clozeau and Golden Goose.

By Marie is a luxury multi-brand store with locations in Paris, St. Tropez and Marseille, offering worldwide shipping and a direct personal shopper line.

Correspondances, located at 63 Rue Gambetta, is the quietest and most discreet of the three, with almost no digital presence — a notable distinction in St. Tropez.

BEACH BOUTIQUE

Loulou Ramatuelle completes the Pampelonne scene as the boho-chic beach boutique with Gucci collaborations on the sands — perfect if that’s what you’re looking for.

The little beach hut to the left of the legendary Club 55, Club 55 Boutique, stocks kaftans from London designers, trendy straw hats, and beach bags. The boutique is described as a beach ‘bazaar’ with its own relaxed yet chic style and has everything you might need for the beach or elsewhere. It is best to go in the morning before it gets very crowded.
