The run-up to Christmas has changed. Instead of watching the snowflakes fall while sipping hot chocolate, it’s all about Christmas parties, final projects before the end of the year, buying gifts and putting together your shopping list.
This year, we want to do things more wisely.
Follow IRMA’s guide to achieving inner peace and relaxation, even when things get busy.

ESCAPE and take your family on a journey to a faraway land where Christmas is far behind you. Explore a new culture, food and landscape that will nourish your mind with stories and images when you return home for Christmas.

STAY HOME and transform your current home. Even a single interior object can transform your current home. A new lamp, cushions or simply a new table setting can inspire you to rearrange your apartment. Feel like you’re living in a new home for the holidays!

REARRANGE your wardrobe and it will feel like you have a whole new one. Take inspiration from the latest Chanel Métiers d’Art show and create a new look for yourself and the clothes you already have. Why not buy a new pair of shoes and work around them?

Get a BEAUTY TREATMENT that will make a change, but be advised by the best. A new hair colour, lipstick or skincare treatment can make a difference.

Get a NEW HAIRCUT and try out a new style. The start of the year is also a time for new beginnings.

TRAVELS TO COME
Get in the mood for your upcoming travels. Buy a new sun hat, sandals or a book about your summer travel destination, and start planning. Preparation is part of the journey to come.

Throw a spontaneous cocktail PARTY for your closest friends. Everyone should bring the ingredients for their favourite cocktail to mix up.
Don’t forget to provide some finger food or a hot stew to warm you up.

About FLOWERS and creating beauty, especially during the festive season. It could be your table, your entrance, your terrace, or simply a flower in your bathroom. Make it beautiful and real.

STAY HOME and take a deep breath instead of travelling far. It is the calmest time of the year, when the days are short and the nights are long. Go for walks, read books you didn’t finish during the year, try new recipes and spend time alone or with your family and friends. It’s the time to recharge and make plans for the year ahead.
