Why a transparent look is the new cool

Remember the 80s when furniture became transparent, eyeshadows glossy and see through and handbags revealed all their inner beauty.

Miu Miu Mules Resort 2018, Sunnies by The Row for Oliver Peoples.

This fall we are going back in time and although transparency let me dream of pool sites, blue swimming pool cocktails and summer jewellery in chunky geometric forms, we will have a re-see this autumn to keep that endless summer feel.

Miu Miu makes mules that look like ice cubes in a cocktail and if you hurry up you will find vintage lamps and furniture made out of Plexiglas before all the others will hunt them.

Jasmin wears her Limited Edition Art T-Shirt to khakis by Sportmax with Miu Miu Plexi Mules standing in her living room next to a sculpture by her grandfather, the artist Carl Vilz.

The Row teamed up with Oliver Peoples and makes sunnies that look like jelly babies in candy colours. Life is fresh, and seeing through makes a clearer vision.

Lamp found at the flea market in Nice, 1984.
