Tie-Dye never dies and lives especially a revival often in designer’s spring summer collection. Why is that? Because we are associating the tie dye print with surf culture, beach wear and Boho hippie style, somehow this piece of print never really disappears in Fashion. Miucia Prada brings it always back once in a while and Collina Strada almost built an entire collection for her Fall 2019 show around the appeal, look and gesture of tie dye which has to do with effortlessness, a huge self-esteem of mixing print and colour and a romantic tendency towards the hippie era.
But Tie-Dye can also look extremely modern and chic, as mentioned in the summer Prada collection, in a petty coat style volume skirt, hair ribbon and tight top it has a lady like look with a touch of revolution.
Make sure you wear it smart and not obvious. If you like the easiness of a Tie-Dye sweater mix it to a smart pencil skirt and when not to sure about that retro print, try it in a smaller dosis in an accessory or pair of shoes –
