Jewels for IRMA

MUNICH: IRMA got some jewels by Munich based jewellery designer Saskia Diez, who got my IRMA scarf, designed for CODELLO in cooperation with UNESCO, and transformed it in her own way. I love the Yves Klein blue and the handmade sterling silver charms she sewed onto IRMA’S head which makes this scarf almost a piece of jewellery by itself.

Wear it with a simple white top or wear it around your head so the jewellery stands out where you want it to be.

SASKIA DIEZ: “IRMA is fully accessorized but was in the need of some jewellery. The pieces we put are handmade in sterling silver. To make them stand out more, we dyed the scarf before in a night blue.”

SASKIA’S BIO:

After completing her training as a goldsmith the Munich-based designer Saskia Diez decided to study industrial design which followed working in several design studios including Rosenthal and Konstantin Grcic before setting up her own studio. Essentially a coincidence that led her back to jewellery design, in her informal reduced products you can clearly discern the perspective of design.
