Comporta & Melides summer vibe

If you are still looking for a summer holiday, Melides and Comporta might be an option. Not quite a hidden spot, but definitely a place where a boho vacation, close to nature and everything you dream of for a summer getaway is present. Melides, on the other hand, is a little more relaxed, not directly on the sea, but a charming village surrounded by lush nature and recently the new hot spot since Christian Louboutin opened his first and beautiful Hotel Vermelho.
In the meantime, scroll down for our selection of shops and restaurants to get you in the mood for summer.

COTE SUD, Comporta

One of the very first boutiques in Comporta and the founder, Manè Jordan, was also the first to design the typical straw roofs for the entrance and throughout her boutique, which others soon followed. We will be there with our summer collection by Jasmin Khezri from the 26th to the 30th of July.

VIDA DURA, Melides

A flower and tableware shop that also sells local ceramics, objects and carpets, among many other things that can be seen at the Hotel Vermelho. They also create the bouquets for the hotel.

THE LIFE JUICE, Comporta

A mini department store by Isabel Costa, where you can find everything from skin care products to interior objects, jewellery and fashion.

LAVANDA, Comporta

Lavanda used to be a bakery, but a few years ago it became a meeting place where you can find everything you are looking for. Linen and cotton clothing, raffia bags, original dresses, candles, espadrilles, organic objects… all this and much more! You will also find local and international brands.

PASSEIOS A CAVALO, MELIDES

Book your horse riding lessons in advance and enjoy a ride along the deserted, wide beaches, a unique experience.

CORRES DA TERRA, Melides

The smallest shop in Melides where you can buy what you see in this tiny place, mostly Portuguese tableware.

Handknitted sweaters for colder evenings in Cote Sud

A ring by Gustoka found at The Life Juice.

An evening walk at Praya do Comporta is pure bliss

You can`t go wrong with grilled fish and Portuguese salad at Resturant O Vapor, Melides.
