Chalet solitude

Leaving your home for a break seems difficult these days. Especially when you are not sure about how the latest regulations effect the country you would like to travel to.

Living in northern Europe some destinations are easy to reach by car and although I am not encouraging you to travel when the pandemic is still running high, I like to give you some ideas on locations that are as save as they can get, once travelling is possible again.

Until then, make plans and let your mind travel.

Chalets became grand over the years and it’s almost like chartering a yacht with friends, just in the snow. Fireplaces, grand kitchen spaces, luxury spas and cosy wooden panelled interiors right at the piste are just a few features on how to get the ultimate luxe on snow. Find a selection via BRAMBLE SKI.

Boutique Homes are one of my favourite sites, when it comes to finding holiday homes that are nicely furnished, have special locations, always with a certain twist in interior, architecture, design and landscape.
This one caught my eye for the stunning view, solitude and only relatively short drive from Munich, Germany . DOLOMIT CHALETS, Pliscia by Boutique Home

Looking for a chalet in the French Alps with delicious food being served to your doorsteps and an interior that gives you all the chaleur you need during cold winter days brings to my mind the properties of the Sibuet Fermes & Hotels. Each one unique and differently, make your choice of alpine living.
